In collaboration with Libearty Bear Sanctuary, Lascăr 31 is proud to present a special event for World Bear Day, celebrated annually on March 23rd. The event highlights the sanctuary’s vital role in providing rescued brown bears with a safe, natural environment where they can live with dignity after lives of captivity and abuse. Guests are invited to learn about Libearty’s mission while discovering the stories of several bears rescued from abysmal conditions.

Our returning artisans were joined by several new faces, giving guests an even wider selection of handcrafted, locally produced goods. With great food, great company, and an array of finely crafted items, the market offered plenty of perfect gift ideas for the holiday season.

In Lascăr 31 Business Center’s newest exhibition, artist Paula Iacob will be displaying her captivating Naïve paintings. Iacob’s artistic career began in 1989, when she began painting still life and landscape scenes. Her style evolved to include scenes focused around custom and tradition, while evoking a feeling of warmth and joy. Her award-winning work has been displayed in galleries internationally.

Lascăr 31 Business Center is proud to present its next exhibition, featuring a new local artist. Beti Vervega is a Romanian painter who began her career creating frescoes in churches. Following a trip to Africa, her perspective on art changed, transforming the traditional style she had developed into an exciting new form focused on geometric shapes and lively chromatics.
